The As One Prayer Walk is April 9 in downtown Fayetteville. The walk begins at 10 a.m. in Festival Park and will incorporate stops for request to God at the N.C. Veterans Park and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum for military troops, veterans and their families; City Hall for pioneers and law implementation; Cumberland County Detention Center for the individuals who are imprisoned; the Market House for racial differing qualities; and the Headquarters Library for teachers, youngsters and their families.

The walk closes at Festival Park with music, sustenance and cooperation. The Airborne and Special Operations Museum Foundation will hold a Medal of Honor Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday to perceive Medal of Honor beneficiaries. The highlighted beneficiary will be Staff Sgt. Felix Conde-Falcon, of D Company, first Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. After the service, all Vietnam veterans will be given a lapel pin. The exhibition hall is at 100 Bragg Blvd. Cumberland Community Foundation is putting forth more than $650,000 in school grants in 2016-17 and veterans day will be celebrated on November 11.
